Repucom’s Senior Vice President of Motorsport Nigel Geach will this Thursday take the helm of an MBA Motorsport Management course at the legendary Nurburgring circuit in Germany.
Repucom have been invited by the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern to deliver a module dedicated to the commercial side of motorsport, with Geach drawing on his 30 years of experience in the industry to examine the future of marketing insights and market research.
The course programme, which is endorsed by the Deutscher Motor Sport Bund (DMSB), Germany’s motorsport association, consists of a four-term business management postgraduate course, featuring practical and theory elements. The first two terms will focus on developing a solid foundation of practical, highly-relevant management and business skills, while the third term will see groups divided into chosen specialist areas.
Nigel Geach said:
“I’m delighted to be asked to participate in this exciting-looking course and hopefully delivering some interesting knowledge and learnings, based around Repucom’s work in motorsport and the wider global sports industry, for the next generation of motorsport leaders. We’re looking forward to getting started.”
The course module will take place at the Nurburgring, the former home of the German Grand Prix. More details can be found here.
