Repucom appoints Dr. Jan Lehmann as Executive Vice President Business and Client Solutions | Repucom

Dr. Jan LehmannCologne, 8 April, 2015 – Repucom has appointed Dr. Jan Lehmann as its Executive Vice President Business and Client Solutions. Mr Lehmann will report directly to Stephan Schröder, Repucom’s Managing Director DACH and Glenn Lovett, Repucom’s President of Global Strategy.

Mr Lehmann will support Repucom’s top clients in the DACH region as well as helping to grow the overall consulting business across Europe.
Jan Lehmann, on his new role as Executive Vice President Business and Client Solutions, Repucom, said: “It is my goal to actively leverage Repucom’s consulting business both across the DACH region, but also importantly across Europe.“

I want to strengthen especially Repucom’s football business and in collaboration with our consultants in the UK and Germany, enlarge Repucom’s position as continental Europe’s leading consultancy in sports business.”

Glenn Lovett, President of Global Strategy, Repucom, said: “With Jan Lehmann joining us, we have strengthened our team with an extremely high caliber and well-connected sports business expert. With his broad Executive level expertise in Sport and Management Consulting, Mr Lehmann will play a key role in our ambitious growth plans in the DACH and across Europe, and in driving new business areas like public sector and stadia.”

Stephan Schröder, Managing Director of DACH, Repucom, said: “Mr Lehmann’s know-how and experience offers a great benefit to our company in developing our consulting business strategically. In addition to that, he will collaborate alongside an already strong team which includes Andreas Ullmann and Philipp Kupfer in DACH, effectively establishing a strong, unified network of sports business consulting.”

Prior to joining Repucom, Mr Lehmann had served five years in several positions at the German Football League (DFL). With a PhD in economics, he has strong experience in strategic business development. In his role as Director Strategic Marketing & Product Management, he was responsible for the Bundesliga as a media product, developing the companies media rights and leading the global strategic marketing function.

Before joining the DFL, Mr Lehmann held the position of Associate Director at Infront Sports & Media in Zug, Switzerland and worked as business consultant at McKinsey & Company in Cologne, Germany.
