Repucom Global Outlook Study set to shine a light on sponsorship worldwide

Cologne, 6 March 2013 – Repucom is set to launch its Global Outlook Study, an in-depth analysis of the worldwide sponsorship landscape and current trends in the business.

The survey will be undertaken in March across six continents with results becoming available in the second quarter of this year. The study will deliver a global view from professionals within the sports and sponsorship business on trends and forecasts for the industry.

The online questionnaire is available in multiple languages on and designed to guide participants to the most appropriate areas for their sector. Their responses will be anonymous and analysed generically.

“We have been conducting this study successfully for quite a few years. However, this edition will be the most in-depth yet, set up on a comprehensive global scale thanks to the unification of our brands Repucom, SPORT+MARKT and IFM Sports to one, worldwide presence,” Repucom’s CEO Paul Smith said. “The unique aim of our study is to analyse sponsorship volume on a global scale and to create a ranking of sponsorship markets. The findings will help brands, rights holders, agencies and broadcasters to understand changes in the marketplace and act on them.”

Through a combination of quantitative and qualitative research, the Repucom Global Outlook Study will contain hard facts from the market as well as opinions and experiences from many of the world’s leading sports marketing and sponsorship professionals.
