The Jupiler Pro League, the top-flight football division in Belgium, has partnered with Repucom to provide media evaluation services for the next two seasons.
Repucom’s Belgian office, based in Waterloo, will evaluate the media exposure of every sponsor from each of the Jupiler Pro League’s 16 clubs, providing the league and its stakeholders with vital data to help inform and optimise commercial activities and develop more sophisticated commercial strategies. The evaluation work will include all television, print and online coverage.
“We’re delighted to be working with the Jupiler Pro League to help its clubs develop their commercial profile and further build their commercial strategies. We look forward playing our part in helping to grow Belgian football over the next couple of seasons.”
Pierre François, the CEO of the Jupiler Pro League added:
“By signing this collective deal, the Pro League is able to provide its clubs with a business tool at the best possible price which the clubs acting individually could not have achieved. Our choice was driven taking in account Repucom’s experiences and its independence in respect of clubs and media, as well as its reputation in analysis. We will evaluate if this collaboration can be extended in the future with the eights clubs which will join the Pro League July 1st 2016.”
The partnership builds on Repucom Belgium’s existing strong foothold in Belgian football, where Repucom has previously worked with several top-level clubs.
