Almost a week on from Real Madrid’s 3-1 win over Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League final, Nielsen Sports has taken a step back from the on-pitch entertainment to review the viewership numbers from this year’s final broadcast on BT Sport.
BT SPORT TV AUDIENCES
BT Sport generated the largest Pay TV football audience (4.2M excl. pre & post) in the UK during last weekend’s UCL Final as 44% of all BT Sport subscribers tuned in via their TVs, double that of ITV’s UCL coverage in previous years (~21% of households tuned in out of all ITV households).
